About the Cultural Center

Alexander Kasyanov
founder of the center
Hello. My name is Alexander Kasyanov.

I am an opera singer and guest soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia — I have been on that stage for over ten years. But all this time, in parallel, I have been creating landmark events: producing, organizing, conceiving — and gradually I realized that I can do more than sing. I know how to build living cultural spaces.

At some point, I caught myself thinking: what will I leave behind? Not roles, not applause — but something real, something alive, something that will stay with people. This country gave me an education, a stage, and the opportunity to do what I love. I want to give something back — not with a grand gesture, but through actual work. That is how the idea of this center was born. Not from a business plan. From a need of the soul.

Yes, we do not have our own building yet. I will not hide that. But we have people I trust, we have programs that are already running, and we have those who come and leave with something important. For me, that is the main proof that we are on the right path.

My dream is to build a true place. Where music and theatre become part of everyday life. Where someone going through a difficult time finds support. Where a child discovers something in themselves they did not yet know. I work on this every day. And I know for sure: it will happen.
We implement socially significant projects across the following areas:
Creative Education
Programs in music, vocal arts, choreography, and theatre — for children and adults. From creative leisure and first steps in the arts to deep professional immersion.
Social Support
Creative and developmental programs for large and low-income families, people with disabilities, and those facing difficult life circumstances. Because art is a resource that should be accessible to everyone.
Cultural Enrichment
Theatrical productions, concerts, musical evenings, festivals, and creative events. We create a living cultural environment for those who want not just to watch, but to feel.
Preserving Heritage
Folk crafts, traditional art forms, support for young artists and creative ensembles. Traditions live on when they are passed down with sincerity, love, and respect.
International Cultural Dialogue
Participation in international programs, organizing tours, concerts, and festivals in Russia and abroad. Culture knows no borders — and we prove it through our work.
Our Values
Creative Freedom
/1.
We do not teach people to be "correct." We create conditions in which each person unfolds in their own unique way.
Cultural Diversity
/2.
Russia is a thousand cultures in one. We do not just acknowledge this — we live it and build our programs on this wealth.
Openness
/3.
People come here from all walks of life, with different experiences, ages, and backgrounds. This is not a challenge — it is our richness. We build a space where everyone feels they belong.
Genuine Professionalism
/4.
Behind every program stands a practicing professional. Someone who does the work, not just talks about it. No imitation.
Cultural Dialogue
/5.
We build bridges — between traditions, between people, between countries and professions. Because culture speaks a language everyone understands.
Art Heals
/6.
This is not a metaphor — it is a fact. We believe in the power of art as a tool for recovery and inner growth. For those going through difficult times, searching for direction, or simply wanting to feel fully alive.
Institutional Independence and Openness
We are an autonomous non-profit organization. This means we operate honestly, transparently, and in the interests of people — not profit. We work within the legal framework of the Russian Federation and are open to collaboration with government, business, cultural institutions, and public organizations — all who share our values.
Vision of the Future
I see the center as a living place — where art becomes part of everyday life, where every person, no matter what they are going through, can find themselves through creativity.
I have traveled the path from a school club to the stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. This journey taught me the main thing: art truly changes people. Not just decorates life — it transforms it. It heals, reveals, and brings people back to themselves. This is what I want to pass on through the center, through its programs, through the people who will work here.

We are not waiting for perfect conditions. We are starting now — with what we have, with the people I trust. Because the best moment for something real is always today.
